Hedge-laying completed!

Habitat management work on our Sustead Common/Surveyor's Allotment site has nearly come to an end for the breeding season, with the completion of the hedge-laying along the Common boundary with the road. All things considered, is not too shabby a job!

Other work, which will not cause disturbance to breeding birds, will continue through the Spring/Summer, including completion of the designated path, which joins the two sites together. This work has been made possible through a Big Society Fund grant, which we are just in the process of formally accepting - more details to follow!
