Sustead Roadside Nature Reserve

We've had a couple of work parties at Sustead Common recently, clearing the area for the winter flooding scrape - work should start on that next week, and trimming back the overhanging vegetation on the original section of the Roadside Nature Reserve (RNR). The Council have given approval to extend the RNR south, to include the whole boundary with the Common. This designation protects the habitat from indiscriminate mowing/cutting. New signs will hopefully be installed shortly.
