Guided walk around Sustead Common & Spurrell's Wood yesterday

The trustees organised a guided walk in Spurrell's Wood yesterday morning. It was a good opportunity to explain the purpose of the various habitat management interventions that Felbeck Trust have made on The Common and to update those attending, around twenty local folk, on progress towards purchasing the wood and our plans thereafter. I'm hopeful that the event will strengthen support for our plans and lead to further donations to the cause. Without the means to own the wood our plans are just dreams!

There is no public access to Spurrell's Wood during habitat restoration work.
