Preparations go well for Open Day

'The lads', I use the term loosely of course, preparing for our Open Day at Sustead Common & Spurrell's Wood this coming Sunday. This morning we finished-off clearing the ride along the northern boundary of the wood, which we'd created earlier in the year. In time, this long east-west facing sun-dappled ride, which reveals former grassland habitat, will attract a wide variety of species - expanding biodiversity on the site, providing food and shelter for more wildlife.
