A group of Felbeck Trust trustees and volunteers attended the Greenbuild festival at Felbrigg Hall this lunchtime to collect from Sarah Butikofer, Leader of the Council, the NNDC 2019 Environment Award. Along with the honour comes a cheque for £500 - every penny of which will go towards improving wildlife habitat in North Norfolk. This is an amazing achievement for a small conservation charity which has only been in existence for three years. In his acceptance speech the Chair, Trevor Williams said 'Felbeck Trust is its people. Volunteers with a love of nature, dedicated to restoring and improving neglected pockets of land.. like Sustead Common.. for the benefit of wildlife and the expansion of biodiversity in North Norfolk.' He went on to thank the people at NNDC responsible for the award and pledged to work ever-more closely together in the future for the mutual benefit of the environment and wildlife in Norfolk.
