Spurrell's Wood - 'open for business'

Norfolk Comfrey - entrance to Spurrell's Wood, Sustead

In recent days the perimeter path of Spurrell's Wood has been cut by volunteers, using their permitted daily exercise opportunity. This necessary work means that others, acting within the current Government Coronavirus guidelines, can easily access the site and enjoy the wood at the height of its Spring-time splendour. As a newly designated County Wildlife Site we are keen to create and maintain the most comprehensive species data possible, so if you do visit please keep a note of anything of wildlife interest you see and either enter it in the log-book in the hide or email: enquiry @felbecktrust.org.uk. We’re sure that your physical and mental wellbeing will be boosted as a result of your visit and, by the way, don’t miss the patch of scarce Norfolk Comfrey at the entrance gate, which is about to bloom!
