Planting up the Pond at West Beckham Old Allotments

On a sunny afternoon three trustees collected some pond plants that had kindly been offered to Felbeck Trust by Norfolk Ponds Project (https://www.norfolkfwag.co.uk/norfolk-ponds-project/).

The plants were of local provenance – sourced within the Upper Bure catchment area close to our West Beckham Old Allotments site.

The vegetation was soon planted up in its new home, and we are now hoping for plenty of rain to refill the pond to its normal levels to help our new plants flourish.
