Treecreeper tick

This afternoon I visited Spurrell's Wood to mark-up the next group of Hazel for coppicing. Just inside the entrance gate a lovely Treecreeper was feeding on a Hawthorn - a first record for the site since we started species monitoring. On the Surveyor's Allotment side there was plenty of bird activity around the feeding station, including a flock of 24 Long-tailed Tit.
