Folk Concert
We had a wonderful evening in Gresham Village Hall on Saturday June 8th, with fantastic music provided (free of charge!) by Three Score and the evergreen Tony Hall.

A very tasty vegan curry with rice and garnishes, was cooked by Ali Williams, aided in the kitchen by a team of enthusiastic volunteers.

The raffle, run by Nigel, had a wide selection of interesting prizes, donated by many generous friends of Felbeck Trust. The bar was run by Ian and Maggie and attracted a lot of punters. And Ed S set up a bookstall of nature books, which provided yet another opportunity for concert-goers to spend some money.
All of this was only made possible by the presence of numerous volunteers who put in the hours both before and during the evening. A huge thank you to all of them. Our funds have been massively boosted by the event, with nearly 100 tickets sold.
A fuller account of the evening will appear in the next newsletter.
