Helping to restore and improve the Norfolk countryside for the benefit of wildlife and to provide places of peaceful enjoyment for local communities and visitors alike.
Rain Didn't Stop Play
Rain didn't stop play today for our first 2020 volunteer work-party at West Beckham Old Allotments. Our intrepid band of volunteers did some more dock bashing and digging up, and then we sowed Yellow Rattle and grass seed in the disturbed areas to assist in the site restoration.
Future work parties will tackle some of the hedgerow ivy and we plan to install a source of water in the form of a shallow pond. A big thank you to our volunteer help and here's to a successful 2020.
