Working Together to Improve Norfolk's Wildlife
Our Object
Our aims are to promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by promoting biological diversity in Norfolk.

The aims of the trust are underpinned by a strong belief in the value of preventing the ordinary from becoming rare, protecting wildlife for future generations to enjoy. Practical work is done entirely by volunteers, using traditional methods and materials where possible – generally, this means manual labour. Our volunteer group has a core of around 30 individuals who put in many hours managing habitats and monitoring species.
Strong anecdotal evidence suggests that our work not only improves habitat for wildlife but also improves the community spirit and expands community networks. Our volunteers enjoy physical exercise and socialising in the open air, while local residents have told us how much they value accessing the sites that we manage and how they relish the opportunity to sit watching wildlife or simply for quiet contemplation.
