Richard from Emorsgate Seeds providing advice at West Beckham Old Allotments

We had a reasonable turn-out for the work-party at West Beckham Old Allotments on Thursday, despite the rapidly deteriorating weather. We managed to plant another hundred trees and installed a pedestrian entrance gate. Richard from Emorsgate Seeds came for the day - advising on the creation and management of wildflower meadows/strips at the Old Allotments and Sadler's Wood. He also gave us a much needed masterclass on scythe peening and sharpening.

By the afternoon it was pouring down at Sadler's Wood but that didn't stop Richard!
