Marvellous Moths

Jane has been busy making the most of the moth trap that we purchased with a grant from Norfolk Community Foundation.

Dusky Thorn

At East Beckham Common, where we had previously done no moth recording, she has identified a magnificent 99 species. Many moths are masters of camouflage, including the Coxcomb Prominent and the Dusky Thorn, which both do a great impersonation of a dead leaf.
