Greshams at West Beckham Old Allotments Part 2

Three Greshams students and their teacher spent 90 minutes at West Beckham Old Allotments on Friday March 11th, planting whips in the middle of the northern half of the field. We had about 100 whips to plant.

Their positioning had already been decided, so all 6 of us (two Felbeck Trust trustees included) set to in a strong wind and got them all planted in an hour. The three Greshams students got the hang of it very quickly and worked very hard. Our thanks to them (Sam, Felix and Ben) and their teacher (Mrs Lenny Thompson) – it was a real pleasure working with them.
