Our very own 'Purple Patch'

Thanks to Cornel for reporting the emergence of several small, but no less significant, clumps of Early Purple Orchid on the Surveyor's Allotment recently. We're hoping that, as a consequence of some of our habitat management work, these wonderful flowers can be protected and potentially recolonise the Common.
