Breaking New Ground

Felbeck Trust volunteers take a well-deserved break on the new bench

Today, in the most miserable of skin-soaking rain, our loyal band of volunteers broke new ground at East Beckham Common, erecting several nest-boxes and constructing the first rustic bench. Felbeck Trust have a ten year management agreement with East & West Beckham Parish Council, to manage the Common and the nearby West Beckham Green site. We look forward to improving the habitat for the benefit of wildlife and making both sites pleasant locations for residents and visitors to enjoy and learn from.
