Work on the new bird hide is nearing completion

The work-party at Spurrell's Wood on Tuesday did some great work - finishing-off this year's Hazel coppicing programme, dry hedging, clearing the newly created meadow - beside the track in the north west corner- of the remaining brambles and making considerable progress with constructing the new bird hide. One more work-party should see most of the main elements of habitat restoration work completed - for this year at least!

Hard-working volunteers take a much deserved break
