Sadler's Wood - engagement event

Trustees Peter & Ian talk to visitors at our engagement event this morning

This morning's engagement event at Sadler's Wood, run in conjunction with NNDC, was a great success. We had up to 70 visitors - a lot of young families and some young people involved in a pre-employment programme. A number put their name down - individually and collectively - to volunteer for our various planned habitat restoration / improvement work at the site. In between talking to visitors and showing them around the twenty acre site I did manage to find time to do some species survey work.

We had plenty of wildlife to look at - Peacock was one of 13 butterfly species seen
