Two for one at Sadler's Wood
The morning group of volunteers mowing the grassland margins of the amenity areas
On Wednesday we had two work-parties at Sadler's Wood for the price of one. And since all our conservation management work is done by our magnificent volunteers, it didn't cost a penny! In the morning we had our Felbeck Trust regulars working on clearing, mowing and raking several areas of grassland around the play amenities and community orchard areas - ready for our wildflower meadow restoration / creation work. In the afternoon we were joined by the local North Walsham conservation volunteer group, who did great work bramble bashing around the entire length of the newly-established tree trail.
A tremendous effort all round.
