Song Thrush revival

Wandering around Sustead Common this morning, I was accompanied by the sweet refrain of a Song Thrush. This is one of a handful of species which seems to be bucking the declining trend of regular breeding birds - possibly as a result of a shift in diet? Nice to have them on the Common, whatever the reason.
