Gapped-up boundary hedge, South west corner of Spurrell's Wood
Last week we held our first work-party of the autumn, at Sustead Common. We've started work on habitat restoration of the Spurrell's Wood site, including gapping-up the boundary hedge at the south-west corner, clearing paths and removing the old tree-guards - of which there are many! This work will continue over the next couple of months, before we can start any proper woodland management work in the New Year. Details of future work-party dates can be found under the 'Get Involved -> Volunteering' tabs on this website.
