First Work-party of the Autumn

Gapped-up boundary hedge, South west corner of Spurrell's Wood

Last week we held our first work-party of the autumn, at Sustead Common. We've started work on habitat restoration of the Spurrell's Wood site, including gapping-up the boundary hedge at the south-west corner, clearing paths and removing the old tree-guards - of which there are many! This work will continue over the next couple of months, before we can start any proper woodland management work in the New Year.
